Coaching questions

The one to one coaching is best if you would like all of the coaching time focused on you. It’s you and your coach working together as a team to help you get the best results.

The group coaching is best if you still want personalised and expert help but would also benefit from the support and input of people going through the same process as you. It’s you, your coach, and a maximum of 5 other people working together as a team to help you and everyone else get the best results.

If you are doing the one to one coaching 8 week programme, your coaching sessions are flexible and we simply rearrange the day or time to suit you.

If you are doing the group coaching 8 week programme, you will be given access to the recording of the coaching session so you can still keep on track.

Retreat questions

The 5 day retreat is best if you would like all the learning and experiences helping you to lose weight and improve your life, as well as having a break from your normal life to have leisure and relaxing time and return home feeling refreshed.

The 3 day retreat is best if you would like all the learning and experiences as with the 5 day retreat condensed into a shorter period of time, and don’t feel the need for the leisure and relaxation aspects.

The BoostMyLife Retreat is located in beautiful Yorkshire in the UK. You have a choice of accommodation to suit your preferences and all of your food and any leisure through the week is planned and taken care of.

With your BoostMyLife Retreat you are able to fully focus on you, improving your life, and overcoming your weight problems.

Most retreats aimed at losing weight will push you hard on the exercise side or give you healthy foods throughout the week. It’s possible to lose a lot of weight over the week but this is mainly losing water and muscle which is unhealthy weight loss, rather than losing fat.

Also when you go back to your normal life, the weight quickly returns and you are no better off. There is little consideration given towards learning or keeping the weight off.

The BoostMyLife Retreat doesn’t aim to lose weight over the week. Instead it focuses on getting you into a position to be successful with your weight over the long term. It’s a learning and development week.

You will do some exercise and will be shown how to exercise properly and make it enjoyable. You will be shown how to eat healthily and will know exactly how to develop your diet. Plus, you will develop your mindset and mental approach which then means you can lose weight AND be able to keep it off.

Most retreats are based around getting quick, short term results. The BoostMyLife Retreat is based around helping you be successful with your weight for life, as well as experiencing many other life improving benefits.

Weight loss surgery, otherwise known as bariatric surgery, consists of having an operation to alter the way your stomach works. It is used for people who are severely overweight and should be an absolute last resort when your life is at immediate risk due to your weight, or you have tried all other options.

Firstly, you have an operation which carries its own risks such as complications, both at the time of the surgery and further down the line. Secondly, you don’t learn how to live healthily, and so while you can lose weight quickly it doesn’t make you fit and healthy. It costs £4000-£15000.

The BoostMyLife Retreat helps you to lose weight the right way and the most healthy way. This is by improving your mindset and mental approach, improving or getting into healthy exercise, and developing your diet. You are then able to lose weight and keep it off over the long term.
