This will help you to instantly feel better about your weight, your health, how your body looks, AND your life overall.
It’s normal for people to go through their life constantly reminding themselves of what they haven’t got. You might think things like…
“If only I could lose weight I would feel so much better”
“I don’t like how my hips, bottom, thighs, and arms look”
“My health and fitness isn’t where I want it to be”
Having thoughts like these can help push you to try harder, but they can also make you feel worse. They can cause feelings of frustration and disappointment because you want things in your life which you don’t currently have.
I know how you feel because I’ve had plenty of frustrations in the past which left me feeling like I was really struggling and not getting enough out of life. Here’s what I learned and it’s an important note to remember…
No matter what weight you are, what your body looks like, or what health and fitness you have, you can still be dissatisfied and want more.
This is why it’s much better using a different approach and a different way of thinking. You want a way that helps you to feel good and feel positive, rather than feeling down and dissatisfied.
Remember what you HAVE in your life, rather than worry about you don’t have
One of the most useful exercises you will ever do to help you feel better is making a “Gratitude List”.
This is where you write down everything that you are grateful for in your life and why you are grateful for them. This could be having your family and friends in your life, having the opportunity to exercise and eat well so that you become fit and healthy, and having the freedom to do what you want in your life.
These things are so easy to take for granted, but let’s not forget them! When you think it through, you have so many positive parts of your life and things to be thankful for.
So make your “Gratitude List” and then spend a few minutes each week to remind yourself how good your life really is. You will feel so much better!
Yes, you still want to lose weight, have a better looking body, and improve your health and fitness, but now the frustration of not being there becomes much less. Instead, you are grateful for everything you DO have and appreciate that your life is most likely better than you thought.
What about you?
Maybe you are feeling some frustration right now with your weight, how your body looks, or your health and fitness. Maybe you have that feeling that your life should be better.
Now is the time to make your “Gratitude List” and see how this helps to ease your frustration and help you think more positively about what you have in your life.
Also remember that all the things that you want with your weight, body, and health can happen if you keep moving forwards and you get the help that you need. Then it’s only a matter of time before you experience the results that you want!
